What time will I arrive for my surgery?

We call the patient the day before surgery, to inform them of their arrival time. If their surgery is on a Monday, we will let them know the Friday before.

What can I eat?

The patient CANNOT eat or drink anything after midnight the day before surgery and cannot eat or drink the morning of. If the patient takes blood pressure, cardiac, thyroid, or seizure medication in the morning, they CAN take this with a very SMALL sip of water prior to arrival.

Will I have pain?

Pain varies per individual; fortunately the majority of our patient’s experience no pain to minimal discomfort.
